baby update :)

It is well over a month since little Edward Paul Nixon, Jr. (aka EJ), has made his entrance into this world. He will be 5 weeks old tomorrow! I have no idea where the time has gone. He was born at 7lbs and 7oz and 19 inches long. He is currently 10lbs and 8oz and 21 inches. He is getting to be my chunky little man.

I can't believe I am finally a mom! After our miscarriage last year I wasn't sure how this pregnancy was going to turn out. I was a little scared and nervous for those 9 months, but when the time came, I was so excited to finally have him in our life. I could just stare at him for hours on end, and not be bored. I love him so much... it makes me think of that commercial where the mom talks about how she always dreamed of a tall man with dark hair, etc., and now is in love with a short, bald one. That is exactly how I feel.

Ugh, I look so tired! Tired mommy, and screaming EJ. Sounds about right, right?
